New Columbia Social

"The Social" is a weekly dance running from 9pm to 11pm every Tuesday night at the Josephine Butler Parks Center. The event regularly features many of the best DJs in the DC area, as well as occasional bands, vinyl nights, and other fun stuff. New to dancing? Come at 8pm for a beginner lesson — no partner or experience required! Admission to the dance always comes with complimentary admission to the drop-in lesson beforehand. When you sign up for one of their regular series classes, admission to the dance is included with the price of the class.
