Country Dancing with Tim Bowker

Tim Bowker of Marble & Denim Dancing hosts these weekly Thursday dances beginning with a Country Dance lesson followed by an evening of Tim's DJ music mix suitable for a wide variety of country dances, including Country Western Two Step, Nightclub 2Step, El Paso, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Country Waltz, Wooden Nickel, the Schottische, Cotton Eye Joe, and the Barn Dance! 7:15 Doors open - Warm up music! Come early! 7:30-8:30 pm - Country Two Step Dance Lesson 8:30-10:30 pm - An evening of Country dancing music by DJ Tim. Beginners are welcome! No partner, experience or reservations needed. Lots of free, safe parking 1,850 sq. ft. beautiful oak dance floor. It has been said that Colvin Run has the best dance floor in the DMV! Remember to wear shoes with leather or suede soles or cowboy boots or dance sneakers.
